Hi and Welcome to Steakbuff.com!
My name is Richard, and I am the creator of Steakbuff.com, a website centered around premium Wagyu steaks, meats, premium foods, and all sorts of kitchen stuff.
As a kid my sister would always order medium steak at restaurants, and I could barely even look at it. Who wants to eat a piece of raw-ish something after all? (HA!) But then one fateful day I was invited to an extraordinary dinner experience at the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was prepared by a Michelin Star chef and included in the 5 course dinner was a piece of wonderfully seared, medium-rare steak.
Since it was a fancy place, and the meat looked wonderful on the outside I decided to take a bite. I immediately knew that I was hooked. As time went on I found out about the various kinds of meats, cuts, dry-aging and finally, about Wagyu steaks. The wonderful, buttery texture is just on another plane of existence, really. There is nothing to compare it to. Even other, high quality meats pale in comparison.
This is why I have decided to launch this website. As I explore the wonderful world of the best wagyu steaks and meats I invite you to join me and tag along. Hopefully some of my journey will inspire you to try it out, and immerse yourself in the world of cooking steaks.
Who knows I might even convince someone to try it on medium-rare?
